Location: North Centennial Manor Department: Maintenance
Status: Temporary, Seasonal (November – April)
Hours: As needed, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and during snowfall events

Position Summary: North Centennial Manor is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team for the winter season. The Snow Removal Worker is responsible for ensuring safe and clear access to the Home’s entrances, doorways, walkways, and parking areas through snow removal, sanding, and salting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clear snow and ice from doorways, walkways, and designated areas around the Home
• Apply salt and/or sand to maintain safe walking conditions for staff, residents, and visitors
• Operate snow removal equipment and hand tools safely and effectively
• Maintain awareness of weather conditions and respond promptly during snowfall events
• Ensure all safety procedures and infection prevention standards are followed
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Previous experience with snow removal preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in cold weather conditions for extended periods
• Dependable, punctual, and able to respond on short notice
• Physically able to lift, shovel, and operate snow removal tools and equipment
• Must be available during early morning and/or late evening hours as required

Compensation: As per Collective Agreement.
