The Disability Resource Centre is a non-profit organization that provides supports and information to people living with any form of disability through an independent living philosophy. We are currently seeking a motivated student to fill our Media Developer position for the duration of an 8 week contract.

Candidates must have a great eye for design and layout and able to combine technical knowledge of multimedia authoring tools and techniques with visual design and interaction design skills and remain current with regards best practices for optimal user experience and web accessibility. Strong communication skills, a high level of flexibility, attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects are key.                                                                                          

Job Duties                                                                                               

• Web site design / maintenance
• Multimedia tool development
• Creation of project deliverables

Contract Details                                                                                                 

• 8 week duration
• 30 hours / week

The following qualifications would be an asset to the position:

• Experience in web design and development
• Background in graphic design
• Excellent communication skills
• Creative, reliable and detail oriented
