Waltco Construction is based out of Smooth Rock Falls, Ontario. The Company provides on-site support for infrastructure maintenance and development of hydro-electric facilities, processing plants, mine sites and other customer sites both locally and remotely based.

We are a team driven business offering civil and mechanical services through the supply of Project Management, Skilled Tradespersons and General Labourers. Looking to expand our team, we are currently recruiting for General Labourer’s who are looking to gain experience in the construction industry and work outdoors.

Position Responsibilities:

·         Performs various physical duties as assigned and maintains all safety standards.

·         Moves, secures, installs, builds, loads, or unloads materials.

·         Performs some specialized tasks which may require on-the job training.

·         Effectively using tools and light equipment, depending on the jobsite/assignment.

·         Moves items from place to place, according to direction from the site supervisor.

·         Moving tools, equipment, or other material as directed in plans or by supervisor.

Qualifications Required:

·         Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.

·         Attentive to detail and alert always to ensure safety.

·         Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers.

·         Valid drivers license is preferred.

·         Previous experience in construction industry is preferred.
