Contract Intake Worker Position

This is a contract position ending in May 2023 to cover for a maternity leave at our main office in Kapuskasing. The successful candidate will be expected to start their contract at the end of July 2022.

We also require the successful candidate to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or to present a valid medical exemption. Any offer of employment will be conditional on providing proof of vaccination or medical exemption.

Job responsibilities:

·         Greeting clients

·         Answering the telephone.

·         Assess client needs and financial eligibility

·         Refer client to appropriate organizations

·         Assist lawyers in preparing and reviewing letters and documents

·         Maintain records up to date in CIMS

·         Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

·         College Diploma in business administration or a related field

·         Perfectly bilingual (French and English) – Written and spoken

·         Background in an Administration environment

·         Excellent computer skills and interpersonal skills

·         Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel on occasion

·         Experience in a Legal Clinic is an asset

Salary range: $22 to $25 an hour commeasuring with experience.
